BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF COURSES

Level one - Survival A foundation course covering pronunciation rules, numbers, basic phrases and situational language, also basic everyday and cultural information about living in Spain.

Level four - Grammatical We now tackle a range of verb tenses - simple imperatives, two past tenses, future tense and revision of reflexive verbs.  Direct and indirect object pronouns and the use of “por” and “para”.

Level five – Logical Revision of past tenses and when they are used.  Revision of future and conditional tenses.  Uses of past participles including past perfect tense.  Conditional tense. Present subjunctive and its uses.

Level six – Successful Revision of all tenses already studied.  Introduction to imperfect subjunctive and passive voice.  Focus on idiomatic verbs in reflexive and non-reflexive forms.  Communication activities.

At all levels - grammar is applied to everyday conversational situations, pronunciation rules are explained and listening and speaking skills are developed.  The language of teaching is English.
